Last updated:
MetricMeal uses a photo of your body composition measurement to create a personal nutrition and movement plan. To do this, we process health data. This statement explains which data that is, why we use it and what your rights are. The Dutch version of this statement prevails.
Who is responsible
MetricMeal is offered by Matchletics.com, De Ynfaert 7, 8447 GM Heerenveen. We are the controller of your personal data.
For privacy questions, contact info@matchletics.com.
What data we process
- Account data: your name and email address.
- The photo of your measurement report and the values on it, such as weight, body fat, muscle mass and phase angle. This is health data.
- Your answers to the intake questions: your goal, dietary needs, allergies, medical conditions and how often you exercise. This can also be health data.
- The plans created for you.
- Payment data: the amount, date and order number. You enter your card or bank details with our payment provider; we do not see them.
- Technical data needed to keep you logged in and keep the service secure.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Making your plan: we only use your photo, measurements and intake answers to make your plan. We ask for your explicit consent first (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR). Without that consent, we do not make a plan.
- Your account and delivery of your plan, including the PDF and the email with your plan: this is necessary to perform our agreement with you.
- Payment and accounting: this is necessary for the agreement and to meet our legal (tax) obligations.
How your plan is made
Your plan is created automatically by an AI model (Claude by Anthropic) based on your report and your answers. No dietitian or doctor is involved. The plan is a general guideline, not medical advice or a diagnosis. No decisions are made about you that have legal effects or similarly affect you.
We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell your data.
Who we share data with
- Base44: the platform MetricMeal runs on. It stores your account, photos and plans and sends emails.
- Anthropic: provides the AI model that reads your report and writes your plan. Your photo and answers are sent to Anthropic through Base44 for this.
- Wix Payments: processes your payment.
- Google and Meta: only if you accept advertising cookies (see Cookies and local storage).
These parties only process your data on our behalf. We do not share your data with your gym, eGym or seca, or with advertisers.
Data outside Europe
Some of these parties are based in the United States or use servers there. Data is only transferred with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep data
- We keep your account, photos and plans for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete them, we do so within 30 days.
- We keep payment data for 7 years, as required by law.
Security
Your photo is stored privately. Only you can see your plans when logged in. Connections to MetricMeal are encrypted.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object, or receive your data in a common file format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this applies from then on. Send your request to info@matchletics.com. We respond within one month.

Cookies and local storage
MetricMeal uses necessary storage in your browser to keep you logged in and to remember your language and cookie choice. This does not require consent.
Only if you click Accept in the cookie notice do we also place advertising cookies from Google (Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). These measure whether someone starts or buys a scan after seeing an ad. Google and Meta also process this data themselves and may store it outside Europe.
